1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By accessing, purchasing, registering, or using Athletes Edge Recruiting’s website, services, digital profiles, funnels, products, or communication systems (collectively, the “Services”), you (“User,” “Athlete,” “Parent,” “Coach,” or “You”) agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use our Services.

2. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES

Athletes Edge Recruiting provides tools, resources, and digital recruiting services to help student-athletes showcase academic, athletic, and performance information to college coaches. Services may include:

  • Digital athlete profiles

  • Recruiting evaluation and exposure resources

  • Highlight reel hosting and publishing

  • Recruiting consultations, educational materials, or training programs

  • Access to communication tools for connecting with coaches

We reserve the right to modify, enhance, or discontinue Services without notice.

3. ELIGIBILITY

To use our Services, you must:

  • Be at least 13 years old, OR have verified parental/guardian consent if under 18,

  • Provide accurate information during registration,

  • Not use the Services for unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive activities.

We may suspend or terminate access for misuse or violation of these terms.

4. USER RESPONSIBILITIES

By using our Services, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and truthful information about yourself, your athlete, or your institution.

  • Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials.

  • Not upload or share content that is false, defamatory, harassing, or violates intellectual property rights.

  • Assume responsibility for all activity conducted under your account.

5. PAYMENT AND BILLING

Certain Services require payment. By purchasing, you agree that:

  • All fees are due at the time of purchase.

  • Subscriptions or recurring services may auto-renew unless canceled.

  • Refunds, if offered, are governed by our refund policy (link or details may be added here).

  • AER is not responsible for bank fees, currency conversions, or third-party processing charges.

All payment processing is handled securely by authorized third-party vendors.

6. RECRUITING DISCLAIMER

AER provides exposure tools and resources intended to assist athletes in the recruiting process. We do not guarantee scholarships, offers, roster spots, or specific outcomes. Success depends on individual performance, eligibility, academic standing, market competitiveness, and decisions made solely by college programs.

7. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

All content, trademarks, logos, videos, digital assets, training materials, texts, graphics, and software used or provided by AER are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not:

  • Copy, distribute, resell, sublicense, or modify our content,

  • Create derivative works based on our Services,

  • Use our brand assets without written permission.

User-uploaded content remains your property; however, by submitting it, you grant AER a license to use it for platform functionality, marketing, and recruiting visibility unless otherwise requested in writing.

8. USER-GENERATED CONTENT

If you upload stats, videos, transcripts, metrics, or other materials, you affirm:

  • You own the rights to that content or have permission to use it,

  • Your content is accurate and lawful,

  • AER may display, transmit, market, or share your content as part of recruiting workflows.

AER reserves the right to remove content that violates these terms, is inappropriate, or is legally restricted.

9. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES & LINKS

Our Services may link to external platforms (YouTube, academic databases, social media, payment processors, etc.). AER is not responsible for the content, accuracy, or policies of third-party sites. Use those platforms at your own discretion.

10. TERMINATION OF ACCESS

We may suspend or permanently terminate accounts if a user:

  • Violates any terms herein,

  • Abuses platform tools or communication features,

  • Engages in fraudulent or deceptive practices,

  • Interferes with the security or integrity of the platform.

Users may cancel accounts anytime by contacting support.

11. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AER is not liable for:

  • Loss of scholarships, offers, recruiting opportunities, or athletic placements,

  • Errors in user-submitted information,

  • Data breaches caused by external attacks beyond reasonable safeguards,

  • Service interruptions, delays, or technical issues,

  • Any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

Your use of our Services is at your own risk.

12. INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless AER, its owners, employees, contractors, and partners from any claims arising out of:

  • Your use of the Services.

  • Content you submit.

  • Violations of these Terms.

  • Interactions with college coaches or third parties.

13. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.

14. CHANGES TO TERMS

AER may update these Terms at any time. Updates become effective upon posting. Continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
